What to Expect on a Sunday

• Doors Open: 9:30 AM

• Service Time: 10:00 AM

• Friendly Welcome – Our greeters will help you find your way around and answer any questions.

• Worship – A mix of modern songs and timeless hymns. Sing along or simply listen and reflect.

• Message – Relevant, Bible-centered teaching that connects faith to everyday life.

• Prayer & Response – Space to pray, reflect, or receive encouragement from our team.

What to Wear

• Come as you are! Jeans, shorts, or casual clothes are completely welcome. If you like to dress up, that’s great too! The focus is on being together, not what you wear.

 

What We Believe

At Good News Church, we believe:

• The Gospel: Jesus Christ is Lord, died for our sins, and rose again — He is our hope and foundation.

• The Bible: We primarily use the NIV (New International Version), but you are welcome to bring and use any translation you like.

  • No Bible? No problem — we have plenty to share!

• Grace & Faith: We are saved by grace through faith — not by works.

• Community: Church is people — encouraging, growing, and serving together.

• Mission: Rooted in Christ • Growing Together • Branching Out

Have Kids?

• Birth - 3yr: The nursery is available every Sunday morning during service. Littles have access to quality childcare, complete with books, toys, and snacks while you participate in worship.

• Kids 4K - 5th gr: During the service we excuse kids to enjoy biblical teaching at an age appropriate level. Please be sure to fill out a registration form so we have the right information to care for your family. Either by filling it out online, or by picking up a paper copy when you take your kids to their class (out the side doors & down the hall).

• Kids 6th gr. & older are welcome to stay in the service and be sure to check out Hilltop Youth Group tab under Ministries on our website!

FAQs

• Do I need to know anything before I come?

  • Just bring yourself — there are no prerequisites to join us.

• Is there free parking?

  • Yes! And accessible parking is available close to the entrance.

• How long is the service?

  • Typically 60–75 minutes.

• What about giving?

  • Nope, please don’t feel pressured to give anything - unless you feel called to! Our main focus is making sure you feel welcome and that you get exposed to Biblical teaching.​​
